One of the most interesting and exciting projects I have done in my professional career are the illustrations for the Nueva Gaderia Archaeological Center, Cerro del Castillo Interpretation Center. This new and impressive museum is built on the ruins of a temple and wall found in 2006 in Cerro del Castillo, Chiclana de la Frontera. A site with thousands of years of history. The illustrations I have made accompany everyday objects from the Phoenician and Punic culture, as well as the Bronze Age. The intention is to place these objects in their context and explain their function in the artisanal production of tools, fabrics and pottery pieces. Other illustrations recreate the temple, or singular building, and also the construction of the wall. I have loved recreating the history of these ancient settlers of the Iberian Peninsula and being part of this interesting project. I hope you like it.
